Yeah... Haejoon was actually pretty good, his art style is fun he could do well paired with Brent or Jason. Jonni, idk it looks like they dragged them (her/him/them idk) into the episode and either didn't even want to part of it or was trying too hard to be liked for their "edginess"... it's way too much contrast with all the positivity all the other artists bring to the episode...
You can't just say "oh it's my style" and then it just becomes good. You should still have a grip on proportions and anatomy. It could be in a goofy style but it should look natural. Jackie chose chibi instead of a more traditional style and she still had her proportions correct so you can't compare them at all. This show was supposed to be about professional artists who are good at what they do drawing an accurate depiction of the character and jonni did not do that

@@ashleymcnutt7661 its something where a person says something that isn't meant to be seriously, usually to be humorous! :-) for example, when an artist like Jonni says "omg hands are so easy" and then draws a hand with way too many fingers, its meant as a way to make you laugh because people find hands hard to draw usually because they are trying to draw a hand that looks as realistic as possible. @Truth It wasn't really addressed as to whether Jonni's a he a she or a they. They clearly were assigned male at birth, and they clearly were wearing makeup. Neither of those necessarily dictates that they prefer to be seen as the gender male, female, or somewhere in between. They also do not have a very gendered name so it is difficult to judge by that as well. Therefore, unless it's been addressed somewhere outside of this video, no one knows whether Jonni prefers he, she, or they.

Everyone is aloud to do as they please. Art is about what makes you happy, not others. Art isn't defined as one thing, everyone has their own takes on art as a whole. I will agree they are annoying and it's just how they act, but art is art, it doesnt have to be in your standards. I, personally, think that their art has a charming factor and it seems to makes them happy. That's all that matters is that they are happy. (I dont want to assume their gender.)
I think doing whatever you want in art is okay as long as it is your own creation and if it has some meaning, but in this case they are drawing very known characters. It would be ideal if they respect the original idea of the character as much as they can, and Jonni seems like he is not even trying, you can tell that it is Superman because of the S on his chest, but nothing else. That leaving aside that everyone is seems to be pretty annoyed by him.

I usually read comments while watching... And I saw so many people Hating on Jonni's drawing and at first I was confused wondering why people are so mean... Then I saw his end drawing and completely understood why people were mad and upset..
I liked the drawing. Very Doodle Doods-esque. I found Jonni's attitude to be irritating in this context though. Since everyone else is so calm and humble.
@@lonesome1689 They were all using the same Hardware / software. I agree that the casual/messy doodle style doesn't fit with the usual content on this specific drawing channel. So that always has a risk of rubbing people the wrong way. Guest animators that come on though... Should it be required that they take it seriously? I'm more in favor of letting them do their own style, even if it doesn't fit. But that's just me. Your opinion is just as valid as mine :)

I draw too but if someone commissioned me a character I didn't like or wasn't keen on, I'd still put the effort into it. Also this is a show about drawing so at least show an example for other inspiring artists out there. Was so not keen on there attitude at all.

@Truth It wasn't really addressed as to whether Jonni's a he a she or a they. They clearly were assigned male at birth, and they clearly were wearing makeup. Neither of those necessarily dictates that they prefer to be seen as the gender male, female, or somewhere in between. They also do not have a very gendered name so it is difficult to judge by that as well. Therefore, unless it's been addressed somewhere outside of this video, no one knows whether Jonni prefers he, she, or they.

So the decent thing to do is respect her wish, since she knows she's a woman and treating her like one doesn't inconvenience you.

Everyone is aloud to do as they please. Art is about what makes you happy, not others. Art isn't defined as one thing, everyone has their own takes on art as a whole. I will agree they are annoying and it's just how they act, but art is art, it doesnt have to be in your standards. I, personally, think that their art has a charming factor and it seems to makes them happy. That's all that matters is that they are happy. (I dont want to assume their gender.)
I think doing whatever you want in art is okay as long as it is your own creation and if it has some meaning, but in this case they are drawing very known characters. It would be ideal if they respect the original idea of the character as much as they can, and Jonni seems like he is not even trying, you can tell that it is Superman because of the S on his chest, but nothing else. That leaving aside that everyone is seems to be pretty annoyed by him.

I usually read comments while watching... And I saw so many people Hating on Jonni's drawing and at first I was confused wondering why people are so mean...
Then I saw his end drawing and completely understood why people were mad and upset..
I liked the drawing. Very Doodle Doods-esque. I found Jonni's attitude to be irritating in this context though. Since everyone else is so calm and humble.
